SMP 401 Multi-Channel 4K Recording and Streaming Media Processor
- Provide an audio and video media processor that switches amongst up to four available inputs into scaled processed windows or full screen views, records and streams multiple files, and outputs a digital video and audio signal. The processor shall allow clean switching, complete two window layouts with layering over configurable logo and background images, and simultaneous recording to an internal SSD drive and customer-provided external USB drive. The processor shall feature up to four streaming encoders with independent settings for resolution and bitrate. The processor shall accept up to 4K/60 sources. The processor shall include audio de-embedding of digital sources, audio mixing and re-embedding of user-configurable audio per encoder. The processor shall create up to three independent recordings and simultaneously provide up to four streams, with different encoder settings and separate audio, plus two additional independent recordings and two streams from network streaming sources.
- Connection Requirements
- Support video inputs grouped into Channel A and Channel B
- Channel A shall include two switchable rear-accessible HDMI inputs with embedded stereo audio. HDMI inputs shall be HDCP compliant with option to configure HDCP authorization.
- Channel B shall include one rear HDMI input with embedded stereo audio supporting HDCP with the option to configure HDCP authorization.
- Support audio inputs grouped into Channel A and Channel B that include de-embedded audio from HDMI sources and rear-accessible captive screw connections for balanced or unbalanced line level stereo audio from each Channel. Channel B shall support two mono line or microphone level audio sources and provide selectable +48 V phantom power.
- Support video outputs to include:
- One rear-accessible HDMI confidence output supporting up to 4K/60 resolutions with re-embedded digital stereo audio
- Support audio outputs to include:
- One rear-accessible captive screw connection for a single balanced or unbalanced line-level analog stereo audio signal
- Support control connections to include:
- Four digital I/O connections for simple contact control, status, and management of digitally controlled functions
- One front-accessible USB-C connection

- Incorporate an advanced video scaler capable of:
- Input scaling up to two source windows from Channel A and Channel B to include:

- Include clean transitions when switching between any inputs
- Allow position and sizing of source windows displaying input Channel A and Channel B

- Video output maintains source’s original aspect ratio with no image cropping
- Video output maintains source’s original aspect ratio and is cropped to fill display
- Include real-time verification of HDCP status for each digital video input and output
- Identify HDCP-encrypted content on non-compatible displays or media with a black or green screen wash and HDCP message
