12G HD-SDI 101

1. Shall provide signal equalization for multi-rate SDI digital video signals over long coaxial cable runs
   1. Video input requirements
      1. Shall provide one (1) single link female BNC for 12G-SDI, 6G-SDI, 3G-SDI, HD-SDI and SDI digital component video
      2. Shall support video resolutions with 4:2:2 chroma sampling up to 4096x2160 at 60 Hz and 3840x2160 at 60 Hz with 10-bit color depth
      3. Shall support 12G-SDI, 6G-SDI, 3G-SDI, HD-SDI or SDI signals with data rates up to 11.88 Gbps
      4. Shall comply with SMPTE 259M-C, 292M, 424M, 372M, ST-2081, ST-2082, and ITU standards
      5. Shall pass ancillary data including HDR, embedded audio, closed caption, and time code
      6. Shall provide automatic input cable equalization up to 230 feet (70 meters) for 12G-SDI signals, up to 295 feet (90 meters) for 6G-SDI signals, up to 590 feet (180 meters) for 3G-SDI signals, up to 787 feet (240 meters) for HD-SDI signals, and up to 984 feet (300 meters) for SDI signals
   2. Video output requirements
      1. Shall provide one (1) single link female BNC for 12G-SDI, 6G-SDI, 3G-SDI, HD-SDI, and SDI digital component video
      2. Shall provide automatic output reclocking for 270 Mbps, 1.485 Gbps, 2.97 Gbps, 5.94 Gbps, and 11.88 Gbps
   3. General requirements
      1. Shall provide a bi-color LED indicator on front panel for real-time status of source signal presence and power
         1. Amber when power is detected
         2. Green when source signal is detected and unit is powered on
      2. Shall include an external, universal AC power supply capable of supporting 100 - 240 VAC, 50/60 Hz power
         1. High demonstrated reliability
         2. Worldwide power compatibility
      3. Shall have a 1” (2.5 cm) high, one eighth rack width metal enclosure
      4. Shall be rack mountable
      5. Shall be furniture mountable with an optional mounting kit
      6. Shall include LockIt® HDMI cable lacing brackets
      7. Shall meet regulatory compliances
         1. c-UL, UL
         2. CE, FCC Class A, VCCI, AS/NZS, ICES
      8. Shall provide at least three years parts and labor warranty
   4. Approved device shall be the Extron 12G HD-SDI 101 (60-1673-01); no alternates or equals
