1. Provide an in-ceiling subwoofer that shall provide an internal transformer.
   1. Closed back in-ceiling subwoofer with internal transformer for 8 ohm direct and 70/100 volt operation
      1. Driver Requirements
         1. Shall consist of an 8" (203 mm) long-throw, polypropylene cone woofer with moisture resistant coating
      2. Performance Requirements
         1. Shall provide a frequency range of 45 Hz to 300 Hz, -10 dB below average SPL, measured on-axis in half space per IEC 60268-5
         2. Shall provide a power handling capacity of 100 watts (rms) continuous pink noise and 200 watts (rms) continuous program
         3. Shall provide a nominal sensitivity of 90 dB SPL (1 W, 1 m) measured in half space
         4. Shall provide a nominal impedance of 8 ohms per speaker
         5. Shall provide a maximum SPL of 108 dB, 1 m, based on maximum input voltage, half space

      3. Electrical Requirements
         1. Shall support 8 ohm direct or 70/100 volt connection from power amplifiers

            1. Shall provide selectable rotary switch taps for 70 volt operation, including 64 watts, 32 watts, 16 watts, 8 watts, and 8 ohms direct
            2. Shall provide selectable rotary switch taps for 100 volt operation, including null, 64 watts, 32 watts, 16 watts, and 8 ohms direct
         3. Shall provide speaker tap selector and selection guide on the front of the speaker
         4. Shall provide a 120 Hz, 6 dB/octave high pass filter
            1. Shall provide a high pass filter selector on the front of the speaker
         5. Shall provide a full range power limiter with the 8 ohm direct input, protecting the woofer and crossover
         6. Shall support one incoming and one outgoing speaker level signal on one 4-pole, 5 mm captive screw connector
            1. Shall support wiring multiple speakers using parallel or loop-through wiring
      4. Speaker Enclosure Requirements
         1. Shall provide a thin-edged rounded bezel surrounding the grille
            1. Shall provide a white, paintable magnetically-attached perforated steel grille with black scrim
         2. Shall measure 12.74" (324 mm) in diameter
         3. Shall measure 14.39” (366 mm) in height from front of ceiling tile to back of rear enclosure
         4. Shall weigh 15.8 lbs (7.2 kg) per speaker
         5. Shall require 12.59" (320 mm) diameter opening in mounting surface for speaker cutout
      5. General Requirements
         1. Shall be sold individually
         2. Shall include modular V-rail and folding C-ring kit
         3. Shall have a 5-year parts and labor warranty
         4. Shall be compatible with Extron SGK SF8C Square Grille Kit
         5. Shall meet regulatory compliances
            1. Shall meet safety compliances under CE, UL 2043, CAN/ULC-S142:16, UL1480, NFPA 90A, and NFPA 70
            2. Shall be UL listed for plenum airspaces
            3. Shall meet UL 2043 and CAN/ULC-S142:16 for heat and smoke release
            4. Shall meet UL 1480A for commercial and professional audio systems
            5. Shall comply with environmental requirements for RoHS and WEEE
         6. Shall provide five year parts and labor warranty
