- Video Input Requirements
- Shall provide two female HDMI Type A connectors used to connect HDMI source devices
- Shall provide automatic input cable equalization up to 25 feet (8 meters) for signals up to 4096x2160 at 60 Hz with 8-bit color depth when used with Extron HDMI Pro cables
- Shall provide one female USB-C connector used to connect a USB-C source device for DisplayPort Alternate Mode video
- Shall provide two female HDMI Type A connectors used to connect HDMI source devices
- AV Output Requirements
- Shall provide one female HDMI Type A connector used to connect HDMI sink
- Shall provide automatic management of color bit depth based on the capabilities of the connected display, as reported by display EDID
- Shall support breakaway audio signal from input video signal
- EDID Requirements
- Shall include Extron EDID Minder technology for automatic management of EDID communication between connected devices
- User-selection of EDID from the connected display
- User-selection of EDID from pre-stored data files
- User upload of custom-generated EDID files
- Assignment of pre-stored, captured, or uploaded files
- Maintain continuous EDID communication with the connected sources
- HDCP Requirements
- Shall be HDCP 2.3 compliant
- Shall provide the option to disable HDCP processing at any HDMI input connection when passing unencrypted content
- Shall provide a full green screen signal for visual confirmation when encrypted content is routed to a non-HDCP compliant display
