IPL EXP PDU4H
- Provide an Ethernet-enabled power expansion interface for the purpose of remotely powering and monitoring connected AV equipment and AV systems.
- Ethernet enabled power expansion interface
- Device shall have four switched IEC-320-C13 female outlets located on the back of the enclosure that can be used for centralized power management of connected devices
- Provide four contact closure Manual Control inputs on captive screw connectors located on the back of the enclosure that can be used for manual control of the four switched AC outlets
- Provide a single 24V relay located on the back of the enclosure that can be used for providing an audible or visual notification to the end user
- Provide a single 12A circuit breaker button located on the back of the enclosure for over-current protection
- Device shall have a female RJ-45 jack located on the back of the enclosure that allows for ethernet based control of the power expansion interface while supporting 10/100 Base-T, half/full duplex with auto-detect for connection to a LAN or WAN and includes link and activity LED indicators located on the jack for troubleshooting network issues
- Device shall include a multi-function button located on the front of the enclosure that allows for the reset of the device or its communication properties at minimum
- Provide front panel LED activity indicators for power status, reset status, switched outlet status, breaker status, and network status
- Device shall support the following protocols: DHCP, DNS, HTTP (redirect), HTTPS, ICMP (ping), IEEE 802.1X, NTP, SFTP, SMTP, SNMP, SSH, TCP/IP, UDP/IP
- Supports a web-based AV resource management application that provides a means to manage, monitor, and control AV equipment
- Device shall support aggregate current sensing for monitoring of power consumption that can be used for reporting and troubleshooting purposes
- Device shall include multiple, single-stage MOVs for providing up to 1,750 Joules of protection for attached devices
- Device shall support power up sequencing to prevent an in-rush power overload
- Device shall have at least 512 MB of nonvolatile memory
- Device shall be equipped with an internal universal AC power supply capable of supporting 100 – 240 VAC, 50/60 Hz power.
- Mounting requirements
- Device shall be housed in a 1 RU, half rack width metal enclosure.
- Device shall be rack mountable using an optional rack shelf.
- Software requirements
- The device may be configured or programmed using Extron’s Global Configurator Plus or Professional, or ControlScript Deployment Utility respectively.
- Device drivers and modules can be obtained through Extron support resources and database.
- Shall be configured or programmed by an Extron authorized user.
- The device’s configuration and settings shall be managed using either Extron’s Toolbelt software or via SIS-over-SSH
- Device shall include an embedded default webpage allowing for simple standalone control of the switched AC outlets
- Device shall be able to operate independently using a secure Extron API
- Security Requirements
- Device shall support SFTP and SSH for secure communication between the control processor and the IPL EXP PDU
- Device shall support HTTPS for secure communication between the IPL EXP PDU and the embedded web pages
- Device shall provide the option to modify administrator and user credentials
- Device shall support security updates to maintain network health
- Device shall require that a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) Certificate is installed to maintain system confidentiality and data integrity
- Device shall support the installation of an owner furnished certificate with the following properties:
- Certificates shall include x.509 support
- Certificates shall include public / private key exchange
- Certificates shall support PEM encoding
- Extron shall furnish documentation that describes all supported network ports and services
