- Provide a Pro AV over IP decoder that receives ultra-low latency, high quality video and audio, signals over 1 Gbps Ethernet interface and standard IP networks
- Decode and scale video and audio
- Provide an HDMI connector for interfacing digital video signal output with embedded audio
- Provide connections for interfacing analog audio signals
- One set of captive screw connections on back panel for line-level balanced/unbalanced stereo audio output
- Provide connections for device configuration from a PC or other peripheral
- One USB connection on the front panel
- Provide a 5-pole captive screw connector for remote RS-232 and IR control from a central control processor via remote port access mapping
- Provide one 1000BASE-T RJ45 connector with PoE+ for powering and control and transport of streaming data over CAT 5e/6/6a/7 cable for distances up to 328 feet (100 m)
- Provide one 2-pole captive screw connector for 12VDC power
- Provide eleven LED indicators for status monitoring
- Power LED on front panel to indicate power connection
- Video LED on front panel to indicate HDMI output signal presence
- HDCP LED on front panel to indicate encryption status
- HDMI audio LED on front panel to indicate HDMI audio output status
- Analog audio LED on front panel to indicate analog audio output status
- Two LAN LEDs on front panel to indicate network link/activity status
- Two LAN LEDs on back panel to indicate network link/activity status
- ID LED on front panel for visual confirmation of units on the network
- Reset LED on back panel to indicate reset status
- Provide an ID button on the front panel to identify the unit on the network
- Provide a recessed reset button on the back panel to revert unit back to factory loaded firmware
- Support audio streaming between encoder and decoder
- Support streaming to HDCP-compliant displays from encoders connected to HDCP-encrypted sources
- Maintain continuous HDCP-encryption between the decoder and display
- Support Extended Display Identification Data – EDID and Display Data Channel – DDC data using the EDID 2.0 standard
- Support use of EDID values defined by the user, supplied by a locally connected display or stored values captured from previously connected displays
- Support standard video resolutions including: 720p, 1080i ,1080p, UHD (3840 x 2160), and 4K (4096 x 2160) @ 60 Hz
- Support computer video resolutions from 640 x 480 up to 4096 x 2160
- Support HDMI embedded and analog stereo audio
- Support 30-bit, 10-bit per color encoding and processing that maintains 4:4:4 color information throughout the entire encode-streaming-decode process
