- Provide an audio expansion interface that shall support two mono analog inputs, capable of microphone or line level signals, and two mono analog outputs, capable of line level signals, placed directly onto a Dante™ audio network.
- Two input, two output audio expansion interface with Dante audio networking and 24-bit/96 kHz audio converters
- Input Requirements
- Shall support two mono analog inputs that accepts 3.5 mm captive screw connectors:
- Microphone level
- Line level, balanced or unbalanced
- Shall provide input gain adjustment from 0 dB to +42 dB in 3 dB steps, adjustable per input
- Shall provide independently selectable +48 volt phantom power for condenser microphones on both mic/line inputs
- Shall provide analog to digital conversion up to 96 kHz sampling rate with 24-bit resolution
- Shall support two mono analog inputs that accepts 3.5 mm captive screw connectors:
- Output Requirements
- Shall support two mono line level, balanced or unbalanced outputs that accept 3.5 mm captive screw connectors
- Outputs will be routed from a Dante audio network
- Shall provide digital to analog conversion up to 96 kHz sampling rate with 24-bit resolution
- Shall support two mono line level, balanced or unbalanced outputs that accept 3.5 mm captive screw connectors
- Audio Device Requirements
- Shall provide an analog input to Dante signal-to-noise ratio of 100 dB measured from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, at maximum input, unweighted
- Shall provide a Dante to analog output signal-to-noise ratio of 115 dB measured from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, at maximum output, unweighted
- Shall provide a THD+N measurement of less than 0.01% measured at 20 Hz to 20 kHz, at maximum level
- Configuration Software Requirements
- Shall provide PC-based DSP Configurator software allowing flexible control of the audio expansion interface’s fixed architecture
- Shall provide a Live mode for real-time control of parameters
- Shall provide an Emulate mode for offline configuration
- Shall provide a single window view of all inputs and outputs
- Shall provide setup and configuration of processing blocks including, but not limited to: gain stages, channel mute, and phantom power
- Shall provide cut, copy, and paste editing between processing blocks
- Shall provide real-time metering of levels within each processing block in Live mode
- Shall provide a Meter Bridge window for real-time metering of all input and output channels with clipping indication in Live mode
- Shall provide keyboard-based navigation of configuration software utilizing bidirectional controls, keyboard shortcuts, and spreadsheet software-style commands
- Shall provide file saving in both Live and Emulate mode
- Shall provide file upload in both Live and Emulate mode
- Shall provide configuration and file saving of multiple, linked or networked processors from a single configuration session
- Dante Audio Networking Requirements
- Shall support incoming channels and outgoing channels over a local area network using standard Internet protocols
- Shall support Dante Controller software for digital audio network configuration
- Shall support Dante Domain Manager network management software for network security and logical segmenting.
- Shall support the AES67 standard for interoperability with other devices that also support AES67
- Shall provide an RJ-45 connector to support Dante audio network connection and direct interconnection between Dante-enabled products, such as Extron DMP 128 Plus AT units
- Shall provide uncompressed digital audio up to 96 kHz sampling rate with 24-bit resolution
- Shall provide selectable 1.0 ms (default), 2.0 ms, or 5.0 ms of deterministic latency
- Control Requirements
- Shall provide Ethernet monitoring and control via the Dante protocol using DSP Configurator software
- Shall support remote control operation via USB using DSP Configurator software
- Shall provide front panel controls for input gain and phantom power
- Front Panel Requirements
- Shall provide a green LED for power indication
- Shall provide green LEDs for input and output signal presence indication
- Shall provide red LEDs for clip warning indication
- Shall provide an input selector button to toggle the front panel control focus between channels
- Green LEDs will indicate the selected channel
- Shall provide an eight segment LED ladder for metering and gain indication of the selected channel
- Shall provide a recessed encoder for input gain control of the selected channel
- Shall provide a recessed switch to toggle phantom power on the selected channel
- Green LEDs will indicate phantom power status per channel
- Shall provide a Configuration port on mini USB B connector
- Rear Panel Requirements
- Shall provide two balanced/unbalanced analog mic/line inputs that accept 3.5 mm captive screw connectors
- Shall provide two balanced/unbalanced analog outputs that accept 3.5 mm captive screw connectors
- Shall provide an RJ-45 connector to support PoE, Dante audio network connection, and direct interconnection between Dante-enabled products, such as Extron DMP 128 Plus AT units
- Shall provide an external power input on a 2-pole captive screw connector
- General Requirements
- Shall support energy-efficient external universal power supply with a 2-pole captive screw connector
- Shall be universal in-line power supply with IEC power socket and support for international 100-240 VAC, 50/60 Hz standards
- Shall provide output of 12 VDC, 1 A, 12 watts
- Shall support use of optional Extron ZipClip™ 200 mounting bracket
- Shall meet energy efficiency level V and bear the UL Environment Energy Efficiency Certification (EEC) Mark
- Shall be enclosed in a rack-mountable 1U, quarter rack width metal enclosure
- Shall meet regulatory compliances
- Shall meet safety compliances under CE, c-UL, and UL
- Shall meet EMI/EMC compliances under CE, C-tick, FCC Class A, ICES, and VCCI Class A
- Shall comply with appropriate requirements of RoHS and WEEE
