FOX I/O 1616 HD-SDI

1. Shall provide an I/O board designed for use with the Extron FOX Matrix 14400 and FOX Matrix 320x matrix switchers that shall support the switching and distribution of 3G-SDI/HD-SDI/SDI signals
   1. Single slot 3G-SDI I/O board designed for use with the Extron FOX Matrix 14400 and FOX Matrix 320x matrix switchers
   2. Input and output requirements
      1. Shall provide sixteen (16) female BNC input connectors for 3G-SDI/HD-SDI/SDI digital video signals with or without embedded audio
      2. Shall provide sixteen (16) female BNC output connectors for 3G-SDI/HD-SDI/SDI digital video signals with or without embedded audio
      3. Shall comply with SMPTE 259M, 292M, 424M, and ITU digital video standards
      4. Shall automatically adapt to SMPTE and ITU digital video standards for 3G-SDI, HD-SDI, and SDI
      5. Shall provide automatic equalization on buffered inputs
      6. Shall provide automatic reclocking on buffered outputs
      7. Shall support data rates from 270 Mbps to 2.97 Gbps
      8. Shall pass embedded audio, ancillary ID, metadata information, and SD/HD-SDTI digital video signals
      9. Shall be immune to pathological signal patterns including those defined by SMPTE RP 178 and SMPTE RP 198 for 3G-SDI, HD-SDI, and SDI
   3. Signal switching requirements
      1. Shall support all-digital switching of 3G-SDI, HD-SDI, and SDI video
      2. Shall support computer and video resolutions up to 4096x2160 at 60 Hz with 4:2:2 chroma sampling and 10 bits color bit depth using four (4) parallel 3G-SDI connections
   4. General requirements
      1. Shall be installed in a FOX Matrix 14400 or FOX Matrix 320x enclosure
      2. Shall receive power from the backplane when installed in a FOX Matrix 14400 or FOX Matrix 320x enclosure
      3. Shall be configured and controlled via the FOX Matrix 14400 or FOX Matrix 320x enclosure
      4. Shall be hot-swappable
      5. Shall be compatible with FOX Matrix 14400 and FOX Matrix 320x matrix switchers
   5. Approved device shall be the Extron FOX I/O 1616 HD-SDI (70-966-01); no alternates or equals
