XTP CP 4i 12G-SDI
- Provide a four (4) input 12G-SDI video board with SDI and HDMI input loop-through that is compatible with XTP matrix switchers and occupies one (1) input slot
- Video input requirements
- Shall provide four (4) BNC connectors for 12G-SDI, 6G-SDI, 3G-SDI, and HD-SDI video
- Shall accept 12G-SDI, 6G-SDI, 3G-SDI, HD-SDI, and SDI signals from 1.49 Gbps to 11.88 Gbps
- Shall automatically adapt to SMPTE and ITU digital video standards for 12G-SDI, 6G-SDI, 3G-SDI, and HD-SDI formats
- Shall support video resolutions with 4:2:2 chroma sampling up to 4096x2160 at 60 Hz and 3840x2160 at 60 Hz with 10-bit color depth
- SDI loop-throughs shall pass ancillary data including embedded audio, closed caption, time code, and more
- Shall provide automatic cable equalization for each input
- Shall be immune to pathological signal patterns
- Video output requirements
- Shall convert 12G-SDI, 6G-SDI, 3G-SDI, and HD-SDI signals for long distance transmission within XTP Systems
- Shall provide four (4) buffered BNC loop-through connectors to support local monitors or additional distribution needs
- Shall provide four (4) buffered female HDMI type-A loop-through connectors to support local monitors or additional distribution needs
- Shall provide reclocking on buffered loop-throughs
- Audio requirements
- Shall support embedded AES audio, SMPTE 299M
- Shall support two channel AES audio extraction
- Shall provide audio breakaway to enable independent audio and video switching
- Shall provide audio input adjustments for gain and attenuation
- Shall provide selectable input audio options, between digital two-channel, and digital multi-channel audio formats
- General requirements
- Shall include Extron Digital Sync Validation Processing– DSVP™ technology to verify data rates and transmit the information through the Ethernet port on the XTP matrix switcher frame
- Shall be hot-swappable
- Shall be compatible with XTP CrossPoint and XTP II CrossPoint matrix switchers
- Approved device shall be the Extron XTP CP 4i 12G-SDI (70-1171-01); no alternates or equals
